Kim Chau, D.AC., B.A.,
I have practiced acupuncture in Regina since 2008. I earned my acupuncture diploma from Grant MacEwan College in Edmonton and passed Alberta’s entry-to-practice exams in 2008. I have also trained in Neuro‑Meridian Acupuncture, reproductive health and fertility acupuncture, cosmetic acupuncture, and whole‑food nutrition based on Traditional Chinese Medicine. I know anatomy and physiology and assess your condition from environmental and whole‑body perspectives to give personalized, holistic care. I currently (2026) serve as President of the Provincial Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture board, a non-profit promoting safe acupuncture practice in Saskatchewan.
Preventive Care…
My belief is that preventive care is the best tool in keeping yourself healthy. With a little care and attention, I think that we can all live happy and satisfying lives. Health and wellness is never perfect but a balanced approach to care that makes use of conventional healthcare and Traditional Chinese Medicine leads to better health outcomes. With the right attitude and consistency, a healthy lifestyle can be an achievable goal regardless of where you begin.
About me
Beyond my Acupuncture practice, I enjoy making art, gardening, reading, watching movies and travelling. One of my most treasured travel adventures was spending a month in my parents original home in Saigon, Vietnam. There, I had the opportunity to visit Acupuncturists and Traditional Chinese Medicine Herbalists. Being immersed in Asian culture showed me that Eastern philosophies, and traditions can absolutely be authentically paired with a North American lifestyle. I am grateful to have a fulfilling career as an acupuncturist and am thankful for my clients who are all willing to explore their health in a more purposeful way.
